this is/was the best thread I've ever read.

I need closure on this anecdote!
Reader, she married him.

But who married whom?  And was that really the end of the story...

How about, "Reader, she married her" ...?

First she married him, then she married her, then she caught her in bed with him, and somebody ended up getting shot.

Well I for one think it is outrageous that I have to buy unripe bananas at the grocery store.  I mean, I know they are trying to get them to me with as much shelf life as possible, but what if I want to eat a banana RIGHT THEN AND THERE?  Outrageous.

Oh I love unripe bananas.  They must be firm and have green ends on them or I will not eat them.

Pears, now those must be ripe to almost overripe to suit me.

Outrageous: that fortified skim milk (the kind with 45% of your calcium RDA in an 8 ounce glass) is available only in the NYC metropolitan area.  If I ever move from here, my bones will dissolve.

OUTRAGEOUS that I can't wear pajama pants, a tank top and flip flops to work just like the students do!

Yes. Bananas firm and tart. Pears soft and sweet.

It is just outrageous that you all do not agree with me about ripe bananas.  OUTRAGEOUS.  Even preposterous.

Actually what is kind of outrageous is Sarkozy's kid wanting to be Le Grande Fromage arguably without the requisite experience.  What would Adjunct Slave make of that?
