Exactly. It is an enormous letdown. It looks as if we will have to make do.
Alone in the copy room, Her Royal Highness assembled the dirt on Book-a-Year. Her face flushed with hurry,
fear, and lack of air conditioning (yet again), her lovely form straining against her sheer and slightly damp blouse,
she bit her lower lip. Paper clip or staple?
Creeping on comfortable shoes, Adjunctslave appeared...

Well, you know how it is with slaves, if Adjuslave attempted an escape and was caught poor Adj is likely chained in the dungeon by now and will never be heard from again. Perhaps something could be arranged with Dungeon Boy <interthreaduality>?

see adjunctslave, the forumites were hard on you, but you hung in there and didn't back down. Now you are elevated to the level of one of the fora lovable weird characters and all your story teller fans are lined up eager to hear the rest of the story. So get back here and satisfy our curiosity. I'm glad you seemed to have survived the ordeal in your department. Is that right? Persistence pays. I'm guessing the young female assistant prof got done in, right? Hotshot left for Impressive Ivy U after boffing a string of pretty grad students? You and hotshot fell in love and are an item now?
