(Not sure whether this should go in the 'research' section)
I am looking for a study of the history of Veracruz (city), I have found one listed on the merchant community by Jackie Booker, which unfortunately my library does not have (and no libraries within thousands - literally - of miles have to ILL), and which on Amazon is out of print. I am not a Latin Americanist by training, so if anyone can recommend any works on the city (in English or Spanish), that would be much appreciated.

Pas de problem. If you have Jstor access, you'll also turn up a fairly decent number of articles by the first author, as well as what looks like a couple of lively debates in the book reviews.
