Given that I own and have read Starkey, Weir, and Warnicke, in addition to a lot of other research, I can tell you that Gregory does some seriously selective research.
On edit: Sadly, even Wikipedia does a better job of discussing the criticisms than Gregory does. Honestly, just admit you took (a lot) of artistic license, already!

No. I had my head in the sand for a while as I was finishing my MA. I had to limit my internet usage to email and porn for a few months.
