Is it really necessary to post three times in a row to add nothing of value in response to your nonsensical opening post?

Probably not, but the last of the three posts showed some discernment.

What really annoys me about that poster is that she's not always wrong.

This is what I keep pointing out about one of my colleagues, too. It just makes everyone involved gnash their teeth more.

Good on you for continuing to point it out.  I appreciate your willingness to go against the flow here (not just on that thread) and I'm sure your contribution is valuable in a land of teeth-gnashers.

Thank you, and the same to you. While I did manage to learn not to run with scissors, I didn't do so well on STFU--at least about some things. I think you're much better about being nice and subtle about it than I am!

It's on one of the later pages where he talks about the history professor triggering his "gaydar."

Is there nothing we can do to hurry academic Darwinism along its prescribed course?

Increasing the intensity of selection may be the best option.  Perhaps we could try introducing some novel predators?

Yes, yes, yes.  This is exactly what I was coming here to express.

Whenever someone heralds the constitution as an excuse to act like a jerk, that is generally a sure signal that the person is a frothing at the mouth a-hole, not to be listened to or reasoned with.
