Define ignorance.
Rejecting out of hand the overwhelming empirical data and evidence for an established scientific fact (for example that the earth is roundish) would be a very good starting point for such a definition. It's not *my* empirical data. It's other people's empirical data. It'not even a question of rejection. It's more about not believing and not disbelieving.

I'm trying, and almost succeeding, to reconcile these latter two posts. To put your more general point differently: most of us (we who are not biologists in some way) "believe in" evolution in the sense that we accept the authority of those who know the data well enough to accept it *without* having to rely on someone else's authority. Okay, fine. But usually there are good reasons to accept scientific claims even if one does so on the basis of someone else's authority. To reject it, or even to remain agnostic, in this instance, I think one would have to have some pretty damn good reasons. I'm unfamiliar with reasons of this sort.

Actually, though, it's more a badge of honor, as far as I'm concerned.

I find I cannot even post something because your constant judgemental crap just leaves me speechless. Anything I could say would be something I don't believe should be said to people no matter how odious they are.

Sadly, I strongly suspect that's not the case. I enjoy lurking on that thread . . . just because I refuse to feed the trolls doesn't mean I can't occasionally laugh at them.
