Does Zinnerson participate in the Oxford Round Table?

Shall we nominate her as an expert on education?

Can't we just download one directly from the ORT site?

Oh my... you can nominate people?  Many many evil evil thoughts are whirling through my mind right now.   This might just be the academic version of signing up people for catalog mailing lists.

Hello everyone,

No need to nominate me for having a knowledge about education. Considering that I have been in education for most of my life, there are some things that I know - at the same time many things still to learn.

Each school works differently and I do understand that many times a college or university will not take a suggestion from an outsider about a course, however lately I have found that the schools I am involved with are open to new ideas. Especially with the growing impact that technology is having in all fields of education - a professor who is knowledgeable on these issues just may be able to break into a school by suggesting some ideas - even if they only develop into aspects of an existing course. This experience actually happened to me recently at one of the schools I teach at. Another school I teach at is regularly asking me for some of my thoughts on new courses.

I think it's a bot.  Who would tell a bunch of professors that she's been in education most of her life....uh, duh...so have we!

You people are mean to poor Zinnerson.

Look how modest she is.

Don't worry, Zinnerson.  Some of us see through your modest veneer and are working on getting you nominated to the ORT.  You belong there and deserve a chance to sit with that distinguished group of experts.  Trust me on this one.

If your goal is to break into a school, a bolt-cutter and a tire iron may be more useful implements.  True, these tools are not considered the cutting edge of technology, but they will certainly get the job done.

Actually, a good bolt cutter and a nice wonderbar (like a tire iron, but flatter) are the cutting edge of some kinds of technology in my field.  They're making these things with new composite materials these days in order to make them stronger....or so I'm told by people with budgets to buy new technology.

And too much of those drugs (legal) and alchohol, plus plenty of rest.  Also, stay hydrated by carrying a bottle of water with you everywhere.

Oh yes, when I do a B&E, I make sure that my coke is nice and fresh and I have plenty of Gatorade.  Plus, don't forget to wear your nice black suit and balaclava for remaining invisible to security.  Rubber soled shoes are best, but make sure they are nicely polished for that chance interview with the janitor.
