You don't was to go too far and come across as Sparky the Wonder Poodle. Mimetically mocking the process was not as fun as I thought it'd be.

OMFG!
RR was the first "abstract" artist I fell in love with. . . His work changed my life forever.

Thanks for the post. I am not as up on RR as I should have been, but this has convinced me to get to know his work better.

One of my students sent me a link today regarding his death. I almost fell off my chair in shock. I am so glad that in his last years he was able to enjoy a huge exhibition (and the opening) at the Met of his combine paintings. I don't have words to describe what his work does for me.

Drink to a man who liked to drink, if you drink. A lot.
The only major artist of out time to put his own horoscope in a monumental work.
A titan.

Damn, another giant of modern art gone, but he was in his 80s after all.
Should I erase this post in his memory?

This is bad news. I loved his work. In his honor, could we upload a dead goat, a tire and some canvas?

Better yet, let us sacrifice the forumite known as SadGoat! Now truly, RR can be found in the gap between art and life.

I still love his work. In his honor, we must upload the goat, the tire, and the canvas each one of us already carries in hus heart. But yes, he was with us for a long, long time. I'm glad for that.

Very funny! In memory, this is a portrait of Robert Rauschenberg if I say so.

Very funny! In memory, this is a portrait of Robert Rauschenberg if I say so. Robert Rauschenberg will always get to your portrait before you do. Even in death. As for erasure, no, you have to erase another Forumite's post. Very difficult to do.

On second thought, maybe I don't need the mods' help. As for erasure, no, you have to erase another Forumite's post. Very difficult to do.
