I'm just wondering if that's an offering of a cookie - per ms_particularity's excellent advice to the newbies - or a request for one.
It's an offer. I have peanut butter cookies, hot from the oven, for all. (I know how to make friends!)

Welcome all!
Do you have to be new to get a cookie?

It's about time a thread like this got "stickied". Good show, Pry!
I was thinking the same thing. Welcome newbies, and lurkers too. And did someone mention there's cookies? Where, where??

Look, francie, homemade peanut butter cookies! Mmm. We've gotta keep this newbie around. I wonder how extensive hapax_legomenon's cookie baking repertoire is? I'm also wondering what kind of bribe is needed to bring some of the lurkers out into posting sunlight. Do you think if I offered to make some seven layer bars later today that anybody would show up? O.

Hey, ufo, I've got a tye-dyed sweatshirt that is guaranteed to blind people. I wear mine as often as possible. You could pick me out of the crowd in the family Christmas pictures. Here it is: http://www.ffaunlimited.org/rbhtyd.html See, I can even hook you up with one!

Yes, welcome, everyone! I would be wearing what was once my favorite tank top, but a) I'm in my office and can't dress quite that trashy yet, and b) I had to use it to pay the Sex Tax. Ex-girlfriend took it. Oh, it was a thing to behold: greenyellowredorange tie dye, Dead bears all over it, some Pride motto or other in loopy script... sigh.

Brownies! Hot from the oven!
We needed some chocolate stuff to go with the peanut butter cookies. I make some amazing brownies.
Anyone else remember when those tie-dye Joe's Crab Shack t-shirts that said "peace, love and crabs" on the back were the most popular shirts on the planet? I never had one, but I think Joe might have made tie-dye popular for a new generation.

Ooh, those brownies smell great. Anyone want a Pina Colada? (Saving the Hendricks for later, of course.)

Oh man. This plus your username made me really want to try making peanut butter brownies. I think my husband might kill me, though...
