The only problem I have is that I end up lugging around the guidebook, my water, Hubby Bubba's water, my camera, his camera,... get the picture? By the end of the day I need a back massage.
oh, can I share my mini-vent on this? Men expecting women to carry their stuff 'since you have a bag' so they can wander around unencumbered.... Get your own damn bag.
Hmmmm. I'm getting the impression that the fact that WH and I go turn and turn about in carrying the ratty old rucksack with the water bottles and guide books is rather rarer than I thought.
Besides, I do the reverse of the bag thing by giving my wallet and handkerchief and stuff to WH to stick in all those convenient male pockets when we're going out and I'm wearing those tedious female things that don't have pockets.
Of course, it's always easy to tell the German, French and Italian men, as they're all quite happy carrying a shoulder bag!
