Does anyone have experience with this company?  My uni has asked me to begin the process of adding distance learning to our curricular offerings.  We've had some conversations with the company.  Some reactions from colleges and universities who have used them would be greatly appreciated.

Never heard of them, checked their web site, looks like a turnkey deal.  That is, they develop the courses, host the courses, and your faculty teach them.  I would be concerned about the accreditor and state dept of ed accepting this approach to online learning.  It may be fine, but ask for recommendation in your state, or at least, in your accreditor's region.

FWIW, my own take if you want to get started with distance ed is to hire an experienced "distance ed dean," by willing to pay the right person a decent salary (100k?), and run Moodle off the school's own server. (Or have it hosted.)  IMHO, success is all about having the right people in place.

Yes! The first thing your institution must do is to hire a technical expert.
