Sorry to disappoint, but it's just a typo. I had a young couple that liked to dry-hump each other whilst waiting for class to start, but that's probably not what everyone had in mind. Their classmates also got sick of the display and let their displeasure be known.
The pointing and laughing approaching is not one that I'd advocate for use toward students, unless you are fond of sexual harassment complaints. I have used it once or twice toward an obnoxious male member at a private gym. Fortunately, I didn't get the show that bewildered did.
