juicy campus article

As a teacher who has been insulted, attacked, and lied about on Rate My Professors, I have to say that even though the Juicy Campus site is equally deplorable, maybe it will give some students a taste of their own medicine. Maybe they'll learn how much it hurts to be slandered publicly and universally and have no way to fight back. Maybe they'll learn that free speech without accountability is not truly free speech at all.

The poster is referring to a Chronicle article, but just didn't post a link. Here it is:

OP has a point: why aren't the students who are lobbying to have the JC website blocked from their campus also lobbying to block unofficial online faculty rating sites? - DvF

Simply put, because Juicy Campus directly effects them and RMP does not. I think that JC is disgusting, but I also have little sympathy for those who have posted malicious stuff on RMP who are now finding that people are posting malicious stuff about them online.
