I got one of those "help me deal with with the millions of dollars I was left and you will get a share" missives today.  Eight and a half million big ones up for grabs.

I got it, that is, in the mail. Not email, by mail, so they had to pay postage.  And what kind of postage?

Airmail.  It was sent from the UK and cost 79p to send.

Was this guy asleep for Mass Mailing for Scammers class?  Doesn't he know you have to  send out tens of thousands of these to get a sucker, and one can't do that if the price is over a dollar per scam sheet?

Maybe. It was metered rather than a portrait of the lovely Elizabeth II-- I suppose that could be part of the scam.  It is an odd looking envelope with no return address.
