My name is Lavinia Bracci and I'm new to the forum. I am the founder and director of a study abroad program here in Siena, Italy called Siena Italian Studies. We host a variety of language intensive study abroad and service-learning programs for undergraduate students. We are, in fact, the International Partnership for Service-Learning and Leadership's program in Italy.
At the moment we are organizing a conference entitled "International Service-Learning: Exploring the Relationship Between Volunteerism and Academic Institutions". The conference will be held on April 12th, 2008 at the Collegio di Santa Chiara at the Università degli Studi di Siena.
