I have to submit a Very Official Form tomorrow which lists the working title of my dissertation. I can change it later before my defense. And I could always use the standard formula in my field. Boring.

But right now all I can think of are...

"Nanoo's Diss: A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius"
"Rilly Cool Findings If You Share My Subfield: Otherwise, Don't Bother"
"If You're In A Hurry, Just Skip To Page 42"
"Revise and Resubmit"

Honestly, nanoo, I'm so bad at writing titles that I just shucked something on the form and worried about it (2 years) later.

Just relax and fill out the form:

Examining Blah Blah: Observations and Intuitions.

or whatever.

I always make friends come up with my titles. But using the discipline-standard model.

I did a powerpoint not long ago and used the pregiven title "Click to add text" as a title. It was so very satisfying.

I love "Click to add text"! A good title came to me in a dream last night, phew. Thanks for listening, everyone.
