If you are a scientist, you would hate it.  It advances every single stereotype of the geeky scientist - everything from dress, to speech, to general social ineptitude.

Actually, it is an accurate portrayal of many of the male science students I knew in undergrad.  (By grad school, they had matured somewhat.)  However, it does not have any realistic female characters, which is annoying.

I wish their neighbor were an accurate portrayal of my neighbor. Siigh..never happens - I have the worst luck when it comes to the the 'attractive neighbor' stereotype. Of all the places I have lived, seems it could happen once at least!

I think I had one like her in grad school, but apart from asking me to turn off her smoke detector once, she never talked to me.
