Interthreaduality.

I should start charging royalties for using my word.  And I know how to make the search function do my bidding, so I'll find out whenever it's used!

That'll be $27.50.  I take cash, check, money order, or PayPal.

Hmm. Here it is, in virtual cash. Kinda hard to get it out of a turnip!

You may have to work out a copyright agreement with the folks who invented "intertextuality."  We here at the Word Patent Office find your work to be somewhat derivative.

Stop picking on the mini-donkey!

The donkey is the most oppressed and discriminated against four-legged creature on this whole mean thread!

Stop it, I say!

I'm short and fat and extroverted and childless and have eight arms and a head for numbers.  Everyone hates me.

Eventually it all becomes clear.  There were many mysteries when I first joined the fora, almost a year ago.  Just a few that come to mind:

Almost a year ago? You have over 6k posts? I have been around since before the system transitioned to keeping track of posts and I don't have that many posts and yet I feel like I live here.

I didn't start talking (at all) until two weeks before my third birthday.  I haven't shut up since.

I miss CBL.

I do, too!  Where has she been?  In fact, there are an awful lot of DSMs and other long-time folks who are MIA.  Maybe we should start a new "where are they?" thread?

Will you take beer instead of cash?

As for being oppressed, no one has it as bad as us evil geniuses.  Do you know how many times my plots for world domination have been interrupted? ;)

Spork, maybe you should come over where I am.  No one discriminates against the thin here.  It's more likely the other way around.

I am still upset about the wine-spilling minion wasting the wine and ruining the plans.

The evil geniuses are quite oppressed. The media portrays them negatively and no one feels bad when they are fed to their own sharks, or have to run away from the crocodile they sent to eat the "good guys" in the movie.

You have a spilling minion?

It is indeed so hard to get good help these days.  From one evil genius to another, I sympathize.

Oh, no! It was coffee. At least that excuses the minion from alcohol abuse. I now understand why dr evil spared the minion.

Odd you should post this...I've been looking for Blue, Rhinocerous, Triangle, and can't find the origin or why it's funny.

Is this the original?

No, it was this:

"Me: What does this tell us about pheonomenon X?

Student: Blue, rhinorceros, triangle.

Me:  Well, that's interesting, but it's not really on topic.  Anyone else? What does this tell us about pheonomenon X?"

I miss CBL.

They knew when to get off the sinking ship. Alas for the rest of us, who are bravely singing "Nearer, My God, To Thee" while the water rises around our ankles.

Wasn't CBL up for tenure this year?

I hope she got good news.

I tried to leave, but then I came back. I may leave again. I miss the old posters and some of the old discussions.

I have the opposite problem.  People are shocked that I don't have all of these newfangled gizmos.
