Exactly elsie!

I can't believe the winner for the latest challenge was the black and white coat outfit. It just didn't look that fab. to me.

They should re-visit the idea of making clothing for plus size women. Although I'm not in the category anymore, it would be a great idea. I recall one challenge  like that awhile back and no one knew what they were doing!

I'm so glad Ping got the boot. If you've got the skill to back up your histrionic bulls*** that's one thing, but she clearly had no clue. Anthony's little one-liners are quickly losing their charm as well, though I thought his big ball gown this week was not bad.

So far I like Emilio best and probably Mila second. They seem to know what they want to do and how to pull it off. I also liked the little vest that the second place team made in this episode (names are escaping me).

Given Heidi's delicate condition, I'm wondering if they might do another maternity wear challenge.

I too like Emilio best but I am not a Mila fan, although I think she will be in the final three.  She is the most confident in her own vision, I just don't care for her vision.  Otherwise, I rather like Amy, she has skills and I think her dress should have won this week.

I almost felt like I knew Ping personally but I did not get her at all.

I wasn't at all a fan of Mila's signature look this week, but I probably have no eye for fashion.  Ping's dress may have required the person wearing it to "stand like the Statue of Liberty", but how is that impracticality different from a lot of high fashion? At least it looked like a dress, which ranked it as her number-one look in my book.  I'm not surprised she went home now.  I did like Anthony's signature piece.  Again, I apparently have no eye.

I don't remember this much drama between designers and models before, but have only been watching for a few seasons.

I think they're trying to make the models seem more interesting so that people will watch Models of the Runway.  I was surprised that Ping's model threw her under the bus.

I think Megan was Jesse's model, so she was trying to protect him.  Last week, Pamela's model didn't exactly praise the cowboy look.  There does seem to be more interaction between the models and designers (and judges). Models also had some extra footage.

I agree with you that the goal is probably to build up hype, but isn't Models interesting enough? They've been doing a better job of promoting it during PR.

I guess I missed that.  But that would certainly explain why Megan said what she said.   I think I still find it a bit weird because in most of the previous PR seasons the models were seen but we rarely heard from them.

Except Season 1.  What was the name of that crazy blond model who showed up late, had crying jags, and went out tore someone's swimsuit?  She was entertaining.

She's the same one who missed a runway show, which meant that Jay had to use Austin as a model, right?

It was Morgan.  She wore the outfit out to a party or a nightclub, IIRC (where she ended up ripping it somehow?).  I remember when Austin Scarlett was Jay's model.  I still can't believe he wasn't in the final 3 that season.

I wasn't surprised to see Jesus go this week.  I think it was the third time he was in the bottom three?  Also, I think that some of the designers didn't understand what a gala is.  Some of the dresses (like Seth Aaron's?)would have been fine for casual wear or a less formal party--but would not have been appropriate for a fancy, dressy party.

i thought the judging was spot on this week, too. Jesus's dress was just trampy. I'd think with a bright red like that, the danger of making something so short and tight would be obvious, but he clearly not only didn't see it, but added a racing stripe and rhinestones to enhance it. I think this is part of why I liked Amy's so much - the lightness of the material really worked well, the way it moved was beautiful.

None of them seemed to use the Campbell's logo much at all. Mila did the most, probably.

Seth Aaron is starting to seem like kind of a one-trick pony.

I thought all the entries were pretty bad this time but I am ready to put my money on Amy and Mila making it to the finals.  Jesus' entry was a bit trashy but I could see it being successful in sales for the fund-raising aspect of this challenge.  I don't think any of the rest have any hope of generating many sales on-line.  The other creation in the bottom two was just plain hideous.  I don't think that designer (can't remember her name) will last past the next show.

I am sick and tired of following my dreams.  I think I'll just ask them where they are going and catch up with them later.  Mitch Hedberg

Taupe?  Peach?  Beige?  What part of cover art did they all miss this week?

Blech.

I'm totally psyched about the win, although my choice would have been Ben.

Who was that one who went home? Is she new? I can't remember ever seeing her before.
