I love Tim on this show, but I was so glad they canceled his "Guide to Style" program. It really didn't do him justice.

I wasn't a fan (expected better advice!) but I thought that it was still going?

Yeah, apparently that was just wishful thinking on my part. They suspended it for a while, but now it's back.

Yes, that was quite a moment. Also, I tried to count the number of times she said "like" in her interview and then again on the runway, but I had to concentrate on my hemming.

I think you should. We could pretend to be related. I'm not changing Betty to Sweet, however. That would constitute false advertising.

I was just going to ask if [the special guest who I won't name as a spoiler]'s career was not doing well, but now I understand why she's there... new clothing line.

Hmm...

Tim Gunn is scary.  I can only see that guy with a big knife and an insanity defense.

Tim Gunn is an icon for our time. Best reality TV character ever, no question.

The designers this season are weepy already (especially Carmen and that one guy whose name I can't recall). Whatever will they do when they're down to six, and the pressure is really on?

Until they ask him to take off his jacket on the runway...

;)

It's like wearing a dickey and nothing else.

So, do you think this is also a competition for the male models as well?

None of the outfits looked truly good. Still, I'm sorry to see this one designer (don't want to spoil) go. Sorrier still to see that other weepy one stay.

Agreed, but this is still the best guilty pleasure, ever.

I feel no guilt whatsoever.

The tailoring wasn't great for any of the outfits, but I liked Kit's the best: I thought doing the jacket in fleece was a clever way to liven up a pretty basic blazer.
