Well, well, well.  I got tapped for a survey about my habits as a user, but my glamorous altar ego did not.  Fess up, or comment.  What's the deal?

Is it the flagrant inanity, the sheer volume of posts?  Perhaps it is the many PMs I have sent and received?  Have you been tapped?  Why?  Will you respond, or are you paranoid?

Thanks in advance for your participation and speculation.

As they say...

I got the letter. No idea why. Maybe because .... oh I dunno.  I haven't decided about responding yet. There wasn't any sort of mention as to what they were planning to do with the info.

I deleted it like I do all unsolicited email that asks for something from me.

I'm cranky today.  Can't wait for Thanksgiving break.

I got it, even though I hardly ever post, so it's not based on volume. However, I did post yesterday, so maybe they're taking a random sample of everyone who posted in the last 24 hrs or something like that. I deleted it. I don't click on anything that I'm not completely certain about (computer support has trained me well).

Me, too.

I'm curious about what they want to know, but I don't want to invite more spam.

I'll bet it's an evil plot to ferret out our alternate forum personaes in order to kill them!  Dr. Evil, I can't believe you did not think of this first!

I just took a look at the survey.  Pretty harmless questions really (except that loaded one at the end: "Gender") to find out how the site is being used and what's on everyone's mind.

It's a meta-survey!

Yes, that's correct.  And Contemporary, how very postmodern of you to start it!

No, no, we are a vibrating vibrant community, not vivacious.  Well, some of us are vivacious, but only as individuals and not as a collective.
