Yay for the job. Do you get a discount? My best friend just got a temporary seasonal job at Macys. She is working on the forced smile that is required of all employees.

Congratulations on the job! What will you be doing?
Try to feel good about this. I have a sister who works at Target and I can vouch for the fact that intelligent, hard working people will quickly earn promotions and raises. Who knows? You might like it. I had various management jobs in retail throughout college and training people isn't that far off from teaching, so you might eventually be able to satisfy that part of your personality.
I bet you look smashing in red and khaki, baby. :)

Please learn the difference between "it's" and "its." I'm sorry, but "it's" is not a possessive!

Hey, sikora, that's good news. I know it's not quite the kind of job you are best suited for, but at least you'll have some money coming in, and give you some breathing room as you figure out your next move.
I liked the video--but it should have ended about 15 seconds before it did.

That can't be true. It can't be! How could someone with a voice like that have gone undiscovered? He had to have had training at some point.

Sikora - good for you - any job is better then no job and target is way better then Walmart (and really, I am not snipping at k16 - I just hate Walmart).
But your thread is going to get highjacked - was that opera singer for real? Is that an amazing piece of editing and dubbing? Seriously - someone find the answer!

The opera singer won the British version of America's Got Talent, and he's made it big. He was on Today Show a while back.

It appears to be a studnet, not the prof, but hilarious nonetheless. I wish I had a student that clever/brave/deranged.
