Hi everyone.  I'm going to be starting a group in my university's faculty "teaching commons" program focused on online teaching and learning and on incorporating online components to existing courses.  It seems as though the format for these teaching commons groups is for faculty to choose a book to read about their topic and to discuss it weekly.  While I'd like my group to be more action-oriented than purely discussion oriented, I think I still have to pick a book for the group to read.

There seem to be oodles of books out there talking about online teaching/learning, but can anyone suggest one that is particularly excellent?
