I just don't want any more bloody moving hi-tech ads.  Pictures?  Lovely.  Moving things?  Driving me up a bloody wall!
If you're using Firefox, Mozilla, or Netscape, then install the flashblock extension, http://flashblock.mozdev.org/

I see all the still pics, but in place of the moving ones I get the letter F.  If I really want to see the thing, I then click on the F. - DvF

Does anyone know how to work DvF's magic for Safari?

Please? Please... I'm pleading.

Yes.

Ditch your Mac and get a grown-up's computer.

Just upgrade to Firefox, it takes about 10 minutes.  Safari is basically an underpowered version of the mozilla group browsers anyway.

Better yet, install Camino--another Mozilla browser but developed specifically for the Mac. No need for an extension to block the ads. I had no idea there even were ads until people started talking about them. I've never seen one.

Hey.  Not everyone has the budget to get a grownup's computer.  The cooling costs alone run several thousand dollars a month.
