Having had to put up with University of Michigan's insufferableness for the better part of my life, would it be possible to set up a special forum so that fellow Wolverine loathers could gloat a little?

And, may I add, Iowa just scored.  Again.  28-0 before the half.

Lifetime SEC fan. Anybody else is just so much background noise.

I always say the same about our in-state rival.

I just saw this.  After their 9th straight win over Penn State, I would be all for such a forum.   I just thought about starting a college football thread if there isn't one already.  Luckily, they're still only 2-2, though I'm not happy they won the Big 10 opener!  I have to admit I like the little song they play when something goes well for them in the game.

Trouble with U of M is the students. They clog the streets and restaurants and take the parking places. Next worst aspect is the faculty and their families; they make you wait in line at Zingerman's.

There are quite a few "old school" football powerhouses that have been stung this season. I doubt anyone at USC can sit down yet, after the spanking they received at Stanford. This seems to be the season of the upset.

The real question though, is "Why is this thread in the FAQ section?"

Probably 'cause the Wolverines aren't real this year. They're FAQ.

Because the OP wanted to set up a special thread for gloating about Michigan football losses. Clearly, however, having a dedicated thread for Notre Dame schadenfreude is a much, much higher priority. Stupid Bruins!

Ah yes, those pesky U of M students and faculty, always clogging up the streets of their own hometown when, really, they should be vacating completely to make room for hoards of visitors.  Did you know that the population of Ann Arbor doubles on game day?  Generally, locals have the good sense to blame it on all you out of towners.  And, despite the OSU rivalry, it's actually MSU and Wisconsin students who are most obnoxious when they visit.

Yes, exactly.  This is also thread that won't die.  And, now that the cursed Wolverines have won four in a row, it is going to become the thread that has come back to haunt me.
