I was very sorry to see that I missed the bulk of the mobbing on  the "Ironic" thread today. I relish those moments.  No seriously. I'm ghoulsh that way.

I rather doubt the mods would set up a notification system when that sort of thing starts, so I thought I'd make a thread that could lead us to the next one.  *rubs hands together*

By posting on this thread, you can "subscribe" or let us know where's the "fire" so to speak.

Or, you can report me to the mods.  Happy Friday.  :)

"A fight, a fight" <mob runs toward commotion>.

Aah, brings back memories of my elementary school playground days. <grin>

There aren't a lot of posters joining you in this ghoulishness. You've got a scared newPhd but not many others.

Yeah, why should Newphd be scared?  I'm ghoulish but I'm not THAT ghoulish.

Besides, you weren't around for the days of Coach Jay and the joys he brought us, so I'm not sure you "get" it.

I will always love Coach Jay for the way he brought so many of us together.

I also like the "Cat Fight" scene in the bathroom in "My Best Friend's Wedding."

I always miss the flashmobs here, but enjoy reading them afterwards.

Why thank you London1

And a toast to the Fiona, who may now catch a flashmob in situ, if this thread catches on.

And to think, some of the old-time forumites were accused of forming a clique, but the newer members form mobs.

I stand in awe as part of the clique that's not a clique.

You must have broken open the champagne bottles during the Rodney King beating and LA riots. Good times for you, Zara?

Wow. That was uncalled for.

What then is the difference between sarcasm & just being mean?

That right there is the difference. Searching a certain poster's history will reveal many, many examples for case study.
