Eating Habits?

Did your eating habits change with the shift from grad student to faculty?
(e.g., do you still eat takeout lunch in front of the computer?)

Whadda you mean?
Faculty was when I went
up
to eating takeout food in front of my computer! I now have some money to buy food out instead of bringing a bagel, yogurt and an apple, and now I have my own office to eat in!

I prefer not to eat Habits. They taste odd and the nuns usually get upset.
But seriously, yes I eat healthier and more expensive food now. I eat out at restaurants more often. I can afford real steak, that doesn't require a spiked hammer to soften it before it is cooked. I usually eat fresh veggies now, not canned. I can buy beer based on taste, rather than price.
However, I sometimes will eat ramen noodles, mac and cheese, grilled cheeses sandwiches with tomato soup, Totino's pizzas or pot pies, because oddly I actually like that kind of food.

I still have a love affair with mac and cheese, especially now that there's Easy Mac. I can make it in my office now.

Yeah, we actually bought steak once in a while. Rib eyes. Um!

I wonder about this too. There is the lack of $ factor in grad school, but you also have more time to
procrastinate
shop, cook, and make food. I wonder if the time demands on faculty means they don't eat fancy self-prepared meals.
