That's good.  Cleaning up cat barf is an overrated pastime.

Because, you know, that stuff on the syllabus is like, in writing, and there are so many ways you can, like, read that, but when the guys who sit by you in class, like, you know, must know what's really going on, right? -- AmLitHist, channelling student

I think of it more as a vocation, almost a sacred calling.

Glad Sporkat is back to normal.

That's great news, spork!  If kitty still seems normal tomorrow, I'd say you nailed the cause.  Thanks for the update.

OK... things are getting a TAD out of hand here.

For the past few months Chuck E, our 5 year old neutered male cat, has been... hmmm... let's just say that he's been getting QUITE friendly with a fuzzy cat bed we have. He drags it all over the house attempting to... OK, let's just say he wants to be REALLY good friends with it. Today he decided that he wanted to be really good friends with our neutered female cat.

She was NOT amused.

Back when she was in college, my sister made me a hook-rug pillow, which I still have.  The fact that I still have it, some 35 years later, makes her very happy.  She would not be nearly so happy if she knew what Big Cat (also neutered) does with it--Every. Single. Day.

Looks like we'd best keep Chuck E and Big Cat far away from each other!

Hubby Bubba says we need to video it and see if YouTube has a special 'Cat humping inanimate objects' channel.

Let me know, if you find such a channel!  Big Cat provides plenty of opportunity to catch him on video...

There are lots of videos of cats humping different things. But I've not seen one where the cat drags the darn thing all over the room (up the stairs) while humping away. That's Chuck E's latest performance. Every morning when we come downstairs the 'fuzzy friend' is some place new. It ends up some place new 5 or 6 times a day.

Wow, no, Big Cat doesn't do that.  He's happy to hump it wherever it happens to be.

You absolutely have to post that video!!

Yeah, malchakitty has a special relationship with a mohair blanket. Said blanket is now in storage 1500 miles away, and he seems to be coping with celibacy.

There was a tragic incident in my friend's animal family when her cocker spaniel's fleecy sex toy was eaten by one of her mother's bloodhounds.  Now that could lead to years of dog therapy.

(Apologies for mentioning dogs on a cat thread).

I confess that Fuzzy Friend hasn't been Chuck E's ONLY friend. For a while he liked Fuzzy Cat radiator hammock... and then there were the times he got quite friendly with Hubby Bubba's fuzzy slippers.

I think we need a new thread, one for pervert cats.

My two never do the kinds of sick, horrible things you people discuss.  And they say it's a victimless crime, but, people, think of the wool fibers.  If chewed, do they not bleed?  If humped, do they not pill?

I'm pleased to see the conversation has been raised to a philosophical level, primarily because it provided a really good laugh.
