Companies hold patents on such broad technologies as streaming Web video and administering tests online, and these companies have demanded colleges pay money to use such technology. With that, and with Blackboard's patent on its e-learning technology, what should colleges be worried about? This is a continuation of the Brown Bag discussion on April 5, found here:
