Ha! I love this thread, but just to be annoying, I'll note that the terms "parchment," and "vellum" are not used interchangably, and some of those are indeed "calfskin"--thanks to DNA and other modern tests.
Now, back to the conversation. How about printout out the cv in binary code?
Silly. We didn't use them interchangeably. Read again. Are you implying that I, a medievalist, don't know the difference? Hmmph. ;)
So should I use papyrus, parchment or calfskin?
I like vellum. It has a nice feel to it, and it's sturdier than papyrus or parchment.
