Law graduates?  How about lots of other graduates?  I'm having to take a second job just to pay off my education while I work for the government.  Higher Education tuition is getting more and more unreachable and financial aid simply hasn't kept pace.  Perhaps our newly-elected Democrat-controlled Congress would like to tackle this issue now that they've decided to lower the interest rate for student loans.

I have a former student of the liberal arts persuasion who will graduate from aq private SLAC with a BA with @$60,000 of debt.  I do not think she's made a wise decision; she should have gone to our local state U.  My husband has some law school debt, unfortunately; he works for government.  For my former student, undergrad debt will be a serious constraint.  For my dear one, law school debt (there goes buying a new car) is a small price to pay for doing what he enjoys.  The message:  Higher education offers choices.  Make them wisely.
