Good morning! Went to bed a little before midnight. Had some strange dream or something, or felt really unsettled. I woke up, looked at the clock, and it was about 12:20.  I don't think I slept very well last night after that. And then I woke up later than I wanted. And I have a small headache. It is still my intent to exercise today, though!  I thought I was going to grade all the remaining response papers - 15 or so - today, but I don't think I will. They'll just have to wait to get them back until Monday. And I have some reading to do.

Hope you feel better, namazu! Keep going, scampster!

By the end of this season, I expect to have a lot of new antibodies!  I think this one's just a cold.

Today (staying home, except need groceries badly):
- wake up
- meds
- eat something tasty
(English) muffin w/steamed scrambled egg and goat cheese
- e-mail [E, M, R] re: out sick, reschedule mtgs.
- enlightenment in progress
- work, work, work!
- get groceries and try not to breathe on anyone or touch anything except my groceries
- work, work, work
- shower at some point
- chat w/Namazu-san briefly
- sleep at a reasonable hour

Bonfires? Definitely!

Any nominations for who to burn in effigy? And octo, you can only have one vote for the grim reaper ;-)

I love how the people quoted in the article hope she's not offended by it, and insist that it's all in good fun.  I'm sure they felt the same way when they burned an effigy of Saddam Hussein...

Since I have no personal worthy targets (right now) I'll vote for the grim reaper too!

Good morning, erictho, namazu, paddington, octo, normative, malcha, wegie, scampster, and wild rose!

Major task for today: Avoid the mudslinging at my office. Of course, since it is less than serious mudslinging, with a LARGE dose of the sillies thrown in, it probably wouldn't hurt much. LMAO at the system-wide emails being flung hot and heavy around here.

C'mon Scampster! You can do it!

Daily stuff
  • Tickle attack on Genni :)

Long term stuff
  • Paint desk for Genni (Gonna have to wait for it to stop raining every day)
  • Wait to hear back from northern university.
  • Wait to hear back from western university. Things are looking good so far!

Thursday[/li][/list]
  • Work on NEW major project.
  • Grade papers if don't have other things to do.
  • Work on getting grades into MyCourses.
  • Work on other project.

Friday
  • Work or jury duty again? That is the question.

*sigh*

octo is baking up a storm! Man, the weather changes quickly around here (big surprise). One minute it's cloudy and drizzly. The next, the sky is clearing and blue is peaking out. I look up again, and there are dark thunder clouds approaching.  I've exercised, showererd, and read for class1. Next up: grading a handful of papers.
