Am I the only one still up? That makes working sadder somehow.

-ask for LORs for HEN
-mail HEN by Feb. 28

personal goals

I thought it was nice that lohai felt so close to her work that she gave it a name. :)

Steve the R&R from Hell is about to be sent back in for round 5 of revisions. One author said Steve was like a bad ex boyfriend. Shortly after, Steve was christened with the name of someone's actual bad ex.

Today feels like a good day (even though I had cramps over night, which kept me from sleeping as well as I would have wanted). The sun is shining. I no longer have three or four meetings in one day. If I get around to it, I'll buy my computer today. I'm getting things done. And I hope to get my hair cut - which always makes me feel good - this evening.

The rescued waif, formerly known as "Cartman" has now been revealed to be "Cartwoman." Because she's in heat. And 4-5 months old. And her first vet visit is Wednesday. Tutoring will be scheduled for the second she's out of heat.

Now, the question is, what to do with her brother, the only untutored male in the house, in the interim? Likely, we'll split the waifs: the girls can go to the basement playroom, while Antiochus can hang out with his now-tutored Mom. The last thing in the world we need are more waifs!

And for the love of all that's holy, people, spay or neuter your pets!

Good morning, paddington, erictho, wegie, and lohai (and steve)!
