One of today's threads inspired me to recognize those newbies that manage a significantly witty post from the beginning.  (Unlike myself, who crappily posted for several hundred posts, and still only manages mediocre most days).  So list your favorite newbie post here!

Ground rules:
1. I will arbitrarily define "newbie", for the purposes of this thread alone, as the first 50 posts.  This means that the post itself must have been within that forumite's first 50 posts.  If the forumite has since surpassed that mark themselves, that's OK.  I also realize that sock puppets can confuse the issue, so just use your best judgment.

2. Posts must be brought here in a truly complimentary way.  No posting to mock a forumite.  This is a thread for posts that are especially witty and/or insightful.

3. No, this is not the Posting Hall of Fame.  The Posting Hall of Fame, which I love, is all-inclusive.  However, I think the newbies (or veterans-that-once-were-newbies) deserve some recognition.  Most of the Posting Hall of Fame is made up of posts from people who have been around for awhile.  This is logical, since it takes awhile for most of us to find our groove.  This is favorite early posts only.

4. Commentary is not banned; however, please keep it complimentary.

5. Please post as a quote with the link, as in the Hall of Fame.

In short: Newbies, I admire you for doing what I could never do.  Well done, and welcome.

I'll enter the one that inspired this thread.  I admire it for its ability to incorporate fora knowledge, create a story with the thread topic, and general witticism.

The guild was of much more help than you people.

By joining the Tiger Team One, I have enhanced my CV and done all the networking that you people always spouted off about.

I have managed to become a level 20 adjunct and, with the next planned raid, we will annihilate some deadwood and take control of the department.

My copy of "Getting to Yes" comes in handy as a missile.
