Can anyone tell me more about Lesley University? I have read the institutional profile prepared as part of their presidential search.  It was helpful but I am interested in learning more about the relationship between the home campuses and the off-campus programs, morale on campus, quality of student and faculty life, and sense of purpose. Any insights would be appreciated.

Lesley was originally a teacher-training school for women, that is, it only admitted women students.  Education is still a strong focus, and they've also developed programs in management and human services over the last 20 or 30 years. They changed their name from  Lesley College 10 or so years ago, as I recall, which I see as evidence of the school trying to ratchet up in mission and reputation.  The main campus is basically surrounded by Harvard, and they have satellite operations in the 'burbs.
