Such irony!

Mr. Krauss, outspoken apologist for evolution, is concerned because the government isn't giving gobs of money to students who want to major in the subject of evolution.  Speaking about Department of Education's list of majors eligible for Smart Grants, Krauss laments that majors in evolution aren't listed.  "I'm concerned it's not there," he says.

Well, now Krauss knows how I feel.  I'm concerned because the evidence for evolution isn't there!  "Like a gap in the fossil record . . ." the article begins.  Well, that's mostly what's there in the fossil record, isn't there?  Gaps.

Paleontologists can never fill the gaps in the fossil record to satisfy an evolution denier. This isn't because they haven't found many transitional forms between species, but rather because evolution-deniers are quick to point out that every new intermediate fossil found creates TWO fossil gaps where only one existed before!

I wish the people who don't "believe" in the "theory" of evolution would stop believing in the theory of gravity.

This sounds like a perfect signature line, Spork.
