Does anyone have any suggestions for what to do with leftover business cards? I have approximately 497 from last job, 482 from the one before that, 476 from the one before that, and 997 from my old TT job. I suppose they're recyclable, but the artist in me keeps insisting that there must be something more creative to do with them.
Build a house of cards?
Glue them into stacks of ten, and then you can build something more substantial with the business-card bricks.
Or, tile a wall with them, then paint the wall Jackson Pollock style.
No need for glue, apparently:

That is absolutely amazing, verbena! Mathematicians rock!

I cut them into strips for when I need new little bits of paper for hanging file labels.
That should use up at least a half dozen a year.
Oh! That's a great idea!

Yes, not at all bad. Just about the right width for the 1/3 cut tabs.

Unfortunately, I think conjugate gives good advice.

I have a metal card case with
this image in enamel
on the front. I'm a Polynesia specialist so it's appropriate in a whimsical way. It was a big hit at the Oceania conference in February.

This was such a random find! Just today I was thinking I needed one of these and now you have posted a link to the perfect site. Thank you very much! I'm thinking of going for the mod line.

Bookmarks. Leave them in it. When someone borrows a book, they can see where they got it.
