Ok!  A musical theater production and a concert have gotten me out of my archival funk!

I'm going to Austria in a few days and that will give me another angle on my research...AND it is the Mozart fest year.

Too bad I was in the Library until midnight a couple of nights ago when Eric Clapton had a sold-out show.

They won't let me scan in this library, so I've been doing a lot of typing.  The main archive that I work in won't let you copy any of their documents, just things that are published.  That is quite the pain in the butt, but if you want to work there you have to play by their rules.  I am personal friends with each of the workers at this archive and they usually throw a little party for me on my last day.  I guess that I am really very lucky that I have these funded research opportunities!
