Please read the transcript.While college presidents were largely united in their support of affirmative action in the Supreme Court cases involving the University of Michigan at Ann Arbor in 2003, their response to the decisions since then has been guarded and, at times, defensive. Are colleges acting too much like they lost the cases? Or are they acting appropriately given the results of November's election and the continuing legal efforts to eliminate race-based programs at colleges?
