Author Topic: Research Presentation at Interview  (Read 2998 times)

I've been offered an invitation to interview at a British university.

As part of what seems to be standard practice, they have asked for a short 10-minute presentation of research.

I was wondering: is it appropriate to prepare hand-outs for this presentation in addition to the powerpoint?

Also, I have been thinking of ideas for the (potential) hand-outs: I'm torn as to weather or not I should just print out copies of the slides or something completely different (I am leaning towards this).

If anyone has any ideas, I'de be thrilled to hear them!

Thanks again.

Whether or not you do handouts is really appropriate to what your talk is going to be about. Keep the powerpoint short...

I agree, depends on your subject. Most people are open minded, but not about not keeping to time. Good luck !
