Hi,

I posted my India query yesterday and find that it no longer shows up on the list.  hmmm...  Well, let me repeat that if there are forumites out there who have experiences of having lived and worked in India, I would be grateful to hear from you.  I am currently between positions and have the flexibility to spend a year on myself - and I've been greatly interested in S.Asia.

OP, I have no experience teaching there, but have been to a neighboring country. Just be sure you have a clear picture of what your daily experience will be like. It can be very hard on a person, physically speaking. Summers will be boiling. Winters can be fine, but then damp and rainy. I got a huge chest infection, and I was only there for two weeks during the winter.

Just my 2 cents.
