How is this institution rated amongst other Eurouni's? Against US schools? How valuable is a PhD in Socialogy from UniMi?

I've got a good friend on the faculty in Sociology in Milan.... he's also spent years teaching in Berkley so he's familiar with the US... shall I ask him for you?
