Does anyone have any suggestions for institutions that hire american teachers to teach abroad? I did my SB through IES in college and looked into them... Any others?

US Department of Defence Dependent Schools (DoDDS) is one you could look at.

Very true! Luckily, you can just say 'no, thanks' in that system, if they offer a job in a politically unstable country, and wait until something more to your taste becomes available.
