I'm interviewing tomorrow for a tenure-track job in the department in which I'm currently a lecturer.  Should I send thank-you notes exactly as I would for any other institution?  Even though I'll see many members of the search committee every day?

Thanks for your advice!

Sending them can't hurt.

Not sending them could suggest to some committee members that you think you have a lock on the job.

Ergo: send (as you would to any other search committee) a brief e-mail thanking them for the interview.
