Rejection from Cornell.
Funny email from USC saying "our search for is ongoing, and you are under consideration" -- whatever that means.
Maryland & New Mexico deadlined this week so nothing there.
See also the WIKI page...

Still nothing on the theatre front, but there were several deadlines this month and with the holidays I'm still holding out hope for Nov/Dec apps. From what I've gathered so far from this forum and Wiki not many of us have heard much, a fact which offers a degree of comfort.
To all you theatre folk out there, I second the other calls from people in other fields who have already reminded others to please post your info on Wiki so we have some clue when the wheels are finally in motion. We have limited power on this side of the table, lets make the most of it. Academia can be cut throat if you make it or it can be a nice place to live with supportive colleagues, basically I think it has a lot to do with how you chose to view it.

I'm also busy telling myself that ACTF is slowing things down...

I am so busy getting loaded down with projects and getting new classes started that I don't have time to dwell on the silence, as much. Thanks for the pep talks earlier this month! BTW a really good rehearsal is a great way to get "Please God I need this job" out of your head. Anyone else get a Chorus line stuck in your head while applying?
I did just send out to a few December postings and am still scanning the Chronicle and Artsearch, I am pretty sure we are going to see another slew of CC jobs this month.
If we wait till ACTF's are over we may not be interviewing until April or May! Unless you just meant the regionals.
