Any campus visits scheduled for AfAm Lit candidates? Nothing is listed on the WIKI.

Nothing official--Ohio U. seems to have notified people and SMU may have done so but I'm not sure. A few places are waiting to get visits approved.

The joint PS/ES job at Oregon is on a slow track because PS is embroiled in three other searches and ES in one. The committee won't even meet until after the job closes, so if you haven't heard anything by the end of January, don't count yourself out.

Probably shouldn't pass on thirdhand gossip but if it helps calm everyone... I know from a friend of a friend who works there that LSU is taking a full-faculty vote this week (yep, they haven't even started classes there yet but are voting anyway) to choose the on-campus invite list, and will be contacting candidates within the next several days.
