Although I'm not in the job market, I'm surprised that I've seen no inquiries here about interviews at the Allied Soc Sci conference, which is the first week in January. Is the market for economists and fellow travellers so good that no one is worried about conference intererviews?

Ha! I have been amazed at the number of MLAers. I think fewer people of ASSA are aware of this board, and the number of job searchers must be much lower than those in some other fields.
