[Alone?]

Am I alone in this search?  Has anyone heard from any of the Comm studies positions?

I haven't heard anything. But I'm also a lit person posing as a comm studies/critical media studies person. I figure search committees just passed my application right into the "reject" pile since I'm certainly not as qualified in the field as people actually getting/with comm studies degrees.

I posted this before, I heard from Ohio State, but they have rotating acceptance.  The six others I've not heard from yet.

I got a rejection letter from Indiana (after a conf interview) indicating they have their list down to 3.

Which comm jobs are you interested in? What specialty? It appears different schools are on totally different schedules. Many probably haven't even advertised yet while others have made offers.
