I have the opportunity to move from a tenure track position at lower tier school with a high course load to 2 different non-tenure track positions at more prestigious schools. I'm in the humanities.

One school is a one-year visiting, with little chance of renewal in a great location and with a friendly atmosphere.

Another school is has a stronger possibility of being a multiyear, but not tenurable position, and is more prestigious, but in a worse location than the other school.

I'd like advice on:

How will it look to future employers move from tenure track to non-tenure track?

Should I take my chances on the one-year or go for the safer, but possibly less enjoyable multi-year position?

Don't do this.

This sounds like a career killer of an idea.

This is a super bad idea unless there's something you're not telling us, like a chance to collaborate with the uber-expert in your field.
