Phone Interview completed -- Thanks for the help

Friends:
Just completed the phone interview with the State School (education postiion, t/t) -- so I'd like to thank you all for your support and insights into the process. THEY were a hour late, but I simply worked on a lesson plan during the wait.
When we got started, we only had a half hour (different from the last interview with the department which lasted about 75 minutes). They asked questions about: education pedogogy and what directions I see for my field; what I would do with a 'slow' student; my teaching philosophy; what type of technology I use in the classroom; classes I've developed recently, and a few others. I believe I answered all of the questions well, except for one that asked about my most recent readings in the field. I couldn't think of book/article titles, so I simply countered with prominent names of people I've recently read, and that seemed to satisfy all . . .
I asked them: 1) where they see their department in the next 5-10 years; 2) university and departmental culture; and 3) what strides they're making with students who come itno the school who are behind in Reading and Math skills.
I'll let you know what happens form here -- cross your fingers, toes and eyes for me, pals.

So happy to read about your phone interview, Dr. Joe! I really appreciate your response to my earlier query regarding background checks (and being a victim of a crime). Since then, I have heard back from the university and they are in the process of working up a contract for me. Please keep us posted as to the outcome of your interview!

Good luck, Dr. Joe! I think that chances are better after getting an interview this late in the season. Schools must be anxious to hire soon. Do let us know.

Dear Friends:
Thanks for your support -- and a SPECIAL congrats to 'another anon' for the upcoming contract (knock on wood).
I sent the chair and another Search Committee member 'thank you' notes via/email yesterday. The Chair thanked me again and told me to wait a little while longer for the 'word' (until they interviewed other candidates).
AND later that day, I pitched a complete game for my church softball team and also drove in the game tying run in the last inning (yes, we won the game, too). THEN, I played another game and went 3-3 at the plate against a team I truly dislike . . . so, who says there's no joy in religion, sports and academia?
I'll let you guys know when I know . . .
Dr. Joe
